Well, it's a new year, and the chronic lack of journals is annoying, even to me (although I usually don't like to bother people).
I've been having some emotional and physical issues, but I'm hoping that 2009 will be better. (Thanks

and

, you know how you've helped.) I'm sorry for the lack of deviations, I've been drawing, but nothing seems good enough to post right now. I've been fervently oil pastelling, though. Jerry's Artarama is an amazing store, and I got a set of 48 for about 8 dollars, and bulk packs of stretched canvases. Jeez, it's amazing - go check it out! I also got most of my presents for

's 16th birthday there...I'm hoping she'll share those oil paints, hehe.
I'm doing posters for our high school production of
Kiss Me Kate...I'm very excited, but I have to get cracking. None of this last minute stuff (but we'll see how that actually goes).
I'll be returning to Putney again (hopefully) for the second semester.

I'm hoping for AM Ceramics (I mean, making 17 pieces was probably the highlight of my year) and PM Painting (I've got to do some practicing first!) But really, I'll just be happy to go.

So, it'll be a busy few months (I didn't even mention school and running, but they're huge commitments now, too). With luck I'll get back to my job at the studio so I can make some money or at least take a free painting class or two.

Just so happens that I'm one of the people in charge of making large, 12 inch by 36 inch posters for a video game night. (Current date unset)

Yeah hopefully everything will get better with 2009, i hope you feel better
Wow, that's gotta be cool being able to go back to Putney. You definetly sounded like you had an incredible time.
I saw a local production of Kiss Me Kate, and I really liked it...good luck on making the posters! (Are you going to post pictures of these posters too? I liked the Crucible ones
Also, I'm pretty sure I'm going to Putney again too. I want to do Creative Writing, and I'm not sure what else. I liked your pottery last year...one of yours was an eggplant, right?

Happy 2009!
Sounds like you scored big in the art department.
Nothing like new projects to get the creativity going.
So glad to hear you are going back to ceramics again. I can't wait to what you make this session.
TTYL,
Cheers!
Yeah, I've got 40 pounds of clay at the studio, so I need to burn through that before I have to wedge it again.

And that's all I have to say about that.
Yes, I did...

And that's all I have to say about that.

Yeah, I'll definately upload the posters, considering the effort I'll be putting into them.
Yep, I made an eggplant with leaves that really didn't look like an eggplant's. :/

Oh yeah. I remember now. But I still liked it
