Sounds pretty cool, right? :D So here's the story:

There's this wonderful girl, ~patchjacket who is going through a pretty tough financial time right now...actually, pretty tough is an understatement. Yeah, yeah, I know - how many requests for money do you hear on dA?! But this girl is special. She's a wizard with an ukelele (check out her youtube account: [link])...I mean, she even got a shout out on fabulist.org ([link])! :wow:

And...she'll play a song for you if you wire 3 bucks to her PayPal. You're account has to be able to send money out (I figured that out the hard way!) so be sure you're hooked up to a bank. ;) That alone is pretty sweet, but if you give her anything more than that she'll write up a little tune JUST FOR YOU! Which is totally sweet!

So go help her out! She's a really great person, and could use a little help...plus, I mean...who doesn't want a song written for them?!?!?! It's so unique - and for the worthy purpose of helping another artist in need? :nod:

I'd LOVE to do it. I think the only problem with the devMEET last Sunday was the lack of structure. I'd love to do something as a group, even if it's just a loose schedule. SoHo sounds GREAT! In a few weeks, we should set up a devMEET NYC group, to plan regular events. I think it could be the start of a series of trips, which would be awesome.

Very cool and I agree, I feel since we are the biggest city they came to, I think we all should have a 6 month meeting, who knows what we all could come up with we all could be a collective creative force...
